What does “beta” mean for the Mac app?

It's the real product, moving quickly. You may hit a rough edge now and then; in exchange, improvements land continuously and your feedback visibly steers what ships next. Your data is production data either way — the beta talks to the same account as the web app.

How do updates work?

The Mac app updates itself in the background on the beta channel — install once, and new versions apply on relaunch. No update dialogs, no reinstalling.

Which platforms can I use today?

Mac (public beta — download, Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 14.4+) and any modern browser. iPhone & Android are in testing on their way to the stores — join the waitlist to hear the moment public testing opens. Windows is on the roadmap.

What does Ritsuban cost?

Every account starts with a free 30-day full trial — no credit card. After that it's $8/month or $72/year, one subscription across every platform. Details on the pricing page.

Where does my data live?

In your Ritsuban account, synced across the web and Mac apps. What we store and why, retention windows, and your export and deletion rights are all laid out in the privacy policy — deleting your account removes your data.

How do I report a bug?

Email [email protected] with what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Screenshots help. Beta reports usually ship fixed within days.
